This workshop is designed to dive into one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), to understand the impacts of a product or use case to it and to ideate on first ideas to tackle potential negative impacts.
The workshop can be done virtually or in person. It takes at least 45-60 minutes. If more than one SDG is tackled, the timeframe enhances accordingly.
This workshop is an easy way to dive into the relation of the Sustainable Development Goals to a product, a use case, or any other topic (we did workshops in the past where we put design/UX itself into the center to understand it’s relation to the Sustainable Development Goals).
The workshop works also pretty well to create a deeper understanding of the different aspects of Sustainability and that it is more than “just carbon emissions”.
In a business/project context, it can be used to identify opportunities and threats of a digital product to develop ideas to make an existing product more sustainable or to integrate sustainability into a new product or product iteration from the beginning.
